HISTORY OF YUILLEFIELD

Yuillefield is located in the famous Dimbula Valley of Ceylon.

Yuillefield is situated at the foot of famous Duke’s Nose peak which is named after Arthur Wellesley,01st Duke of Wellington.

The longest underground railway tunnel in Sri Lanka is situated in Yuillefield Estate. This estate was managed by M/s. Shaw Wallace & Hedges Ltd prior to nationalization.

Ythanside Estate was amalgamated with Yuillefield Estate in 1987. This estate consists of five divisions with a total hectarage of 661.00

The factory was constructed in 1928 and produces rotorvane orthodox black tea with great taste and aroma. The factory has ISO 22000:2018 and Rainforest Alliance Certifications.
